Mouse's exact date of birth is unknown because she was found in the middle of 3rd street in Madison during a spring rain storm in 2003. She was still a kitten, so the assumption is that was born earlier that year. In spite of being cold and wet, Mouse was purring. Her sweet, loving personality charmed everyone. Mouse was named by Alex Feltner, who was 9 years old. He said it was because she was so quiet. Mouse and Alex were inseparable until he moved away to college.
Throughout her long life, Mouse was best known for her sweet disposition. She loved to cuddle around her cat-mom's neck and snuggled next to her every night. Mouse got very animated when it was time to make the bed, often diving under the fitted sheet before it was secured. She also loved chasing a laser beam and leaping after anything resembling a string.
Mouse was preceded in death by Alex Feltner (2016) and her step-cat siblings Socks (2022) and P.K (2023). Mouse is survived by her cat-mom Teresa Waller and cat-sibling Maddie.
